Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Financial Aggregator. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our service.

1. Description of Service

Financial Aggregator is a personal finance management platform that:

• Connects to your bank accounts via Plaid and Teller.io
• Aggregates transactions from multiple financial institutions
• Categorizes and analyzes your spending
• Provides budgeting tools and financial insights
• Generates reports and analytics

Important: We are a financial data aggregation tool, NOT a bank, investment advisor, or licensed financial institution. We do not provide financial advice.

2. Eligibility

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally capable of entering into binding contracts
• Reside in a supported jurisdiction (currently U.S. only)
• Have the authority to link the bank accounts you connect

3. Account Creation and Security

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

4. Bank Account Connections

We use Plaid Inc. and Teller.io to connect your bank accounts. By linking your bank:

• You authorize Plaid/Teller to access your account information
• You agree to Plaid's Terms: https://plaid.com/legal/
• You agree to Teller's Terms: https://teller.io/terms
• You authorize us to retrieve and store your financial data

5. Acceptable Use

You MAY:

• Use the service for personal, non-commercial financial management
• Monitor your own bank accounts and transactions
• Generate personal financial reports

You may NOT:

• Access accounts you don't own or have authorization for
• Share your account with others
• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission

6. Fees and Payments

The service is currently FREE during our beta period.

We reserve the right to introduce subscription fees in the future. If we do, we will provide 30 days' notice before charging, and you will have the option to cancel.

7. Disclaimers

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Our service is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of transaction data from banks or Plaid/Teller
• Correct categorization of transactions
• Financial decisions you make based on our service
• Plaid or Teller's actions, errors, or service interruptions

Always verify information with your financial institution.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Financial Aggregator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the updated Terms and sending an email for material changes.
